Puttin' Some Scoot in Your Boot.....

Sometimes Aunt Sara realllllly tries Mama's patience by sending a gift that has the potential to create a full blown war between Dylan and Sawyer.....one of those gifts arrived yesterday: a scooter.

Gifted to Dylan for his 4th birthday, the scooter was a grand hit. Boosted by his 4 long years on this earth, Dylan showed great maturity and shared his precious scooter with his brother.

Sawyer took to the scooter like a pro and stunned Mama and Bucket with his ability to scoot up the sidewalk and maintain some decent balance.

Dylan showed us that he is now A Man by urinating on the tree in the front yard....in full view of the neighbors. I am too sleep deprived to care.

Happy 4th birthday to our firstborn. Dada & I are so lucky to have been blessed with you as our first child. You have brought us love, laughter and a lot of trucks! Thank you for being a fantastic big brother and an amazing and clever little boy. We love you!

Today There Are 4....

...and after tomorrow, there will be 5. Of course, I say we are a family of seven because I count the Schibbies. Pat does not. Tomato, to-mah-toe.

We are very excited to welcome Baby Girl to the family at some point tomorrow. Clothes are washed, car seat is ready and we are dying to meet her! Meemaw has been a superb help this last week catering to our every whim. I did not know Costco made 18 lb. packages of chocolate chip cookies, but now the boys are certainly aware of that. We can't wait to share our happy news with all of you tomorrow! Thank you for all of your love & support. Our kids are very lucky to have such wonderful family & friends!
