3-0

Well, Mama is 30. There really isn't much to say on that issue except "wha tha f.....?" Thankfully, I have great friends and family that helped me ease into this transitional period with some grace and alcohol. Thank you to everyone who made my birthday week amazing! Thank you for the food, the drinks, the gifts and the support.

As for the Jessica Biel photo above - well, just because I am now elderly doesn't mean I don't want to drop this baby poundage and be buff. And maybe carry a crossbow. I did get a treadmill for my birthday, and I think that'll help me on my fitness journey. Then maybe Justin Timberlake will be my boyfriend.

HOORAY!

We are so thrilled to announce that after 23 beers uh - I mean years, Amy agreed to marry Brendan when he proposed last night! She may have been wearing some beer goggles and confused Brendan with someone else, but when you say 'yes', it's final! No take-backs, Amy!

The Schmuttes are so lucky to add Amy to our family as she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She makes Brendan very happy, and we are very excited to start planning a wedding. I call dibs on the microphone at the reception.

Crazy Train

It has been an action packed few weeks lately. Wrangling 3 children is quite a task. Now I know how the Octo-Mom and her 17 nannies feel.
Recently, we have enjoyed some milestones including Sawyer turning 3, Lo turning 2 months and Dylan telling me the Easter Bunny was in his bathroom and scared of Tyson.
Logan continues to charm us all....especially Dada, who has such a strong bond with her that he cries when she cries. Mama doesn't have time for this idiotic BS and it gets old real fast.
Our wonderful friend Tara took us to the circus this past weekend and it was AMAZING! Amazing because the seats were so close, the boys sat still (kind of) for 2+ hours, Logan slept the entire time and Sawyer managed to not dislocate Tara's shoulder by climbing her like a damn mountain goat. THANK YOU, TARA!

We had a great Easter brunch with the Jose Marty family and the kids even got to do an Easter egg hunt in 44 degree weather. We had dinner with Grammy and Poppy and the boys got to play with Dada's old Matchbox cars which was a big hit! God only knows what the next few weeks will bring...hopefully alcohol and a tummy tuck.
